House flies are filthy insects that breed in warm organic material. Human faeces or poultry manure make excellent breeding media for house flies. Persistence in feeding on human food enable house flies to spread many diseases such as dysentery and diarrhea. Thus houseflies can be harmful even if they are non-human biting.
